"Top Corner" World Cup Event

The Production Bureau LTD has designed a conference facility to be placed in the central hall of their customer’s office building in London.

Having worked in close cooperation with head rigger David Watson on other projects, like the Underbelly, Mungo Delap from the Production Bureau just knew that he had to get in contact with Prolyte to make this project work.
The objective was to create a flexible space that looked stunning inside and out and could easily be converted into a conference hall, meeting room or event stage. Based on the creative ideas of Mungo Delap, Ivo Mulder from Prolyte designed a special truss structure that can both accommodate the lighting design and a canopy that will instantly turn this structure into spectacular, but cosy meeting room.

The arched 3D truss structure is topped by a 3D cut canopy, which is lighted from both sides. Projections on the canopy will give the possibility to create different atmospheres. The complete structure is designed from H30V truss and was launched mid June for the “Top Corner” World Cup event.

As Mungo Delap wrote to Prolyte:” I'm just heading back after the opening weekend of the "Top Corner" World Cup event. Thank you so much for the fantastic job that you did on this structure. The clients are really happy with it all and we certainly managed to surpass all expectations and deliver a total transformation of the rather dull atrium. The first shift of the job went as well as we could imagine with your engineering going in with no problems at all - it took us 7 hrs to get it all up to the 3rd floor and construct the structure and have it fixed down, at the end of day one we had the finished structure in place!”
