To be able to answer the demand  for larger scale productions and events, production service company Malecon Ltd., based in Freiburg, Germany, has invested in the Prolyte M145RV Mammoth truss.  The Prolyte M145RV Mammoth truss is one of the biggest trusses available in the market.

Company owner Thorsten Klein lives up to his name in front of the massive  Mammoth Truss.

With its sizes of 780mm x 1450mm the Mammoth truss just fits a trailer. The bending moment of 580 kNm and its capacity of holding a laod of 6400kg on a 30m free spangive an indication of its sheer size and strenght. The Mammoth truss has a selfweight of 52kg/m. and main chords of 100x8mm. Clever construction of the diagonals make it possible to fit a B100RV truss within the Mammoth truss, saving on truck loading space, which is considarable for this truss.

Apart from the M145RV truss, Malecon also has invested in D75T tower trusses, to complement their system.

Malecon Ltd. specializes in rigging and special constructions for the Event branch. Founded in 2000 in London, they soon opened an additional office in Freiburg. Apart from outdoor festivals, Malecon has also specialized in indoor rigging for large (and heavy) productions. Malecon is the official house rigging partner for the Exhibition venue in Freiburg since 2009.
