Bregenz conference; Opera and Technology

Opera Europe’s Spring Conference and Exhibition 2008 took place on 28 till 31 May amid the spacious surroundings of the Bregenzer Festspielhaus. This conference was planned in association with the DeutscheTheatertechnische Gesellschaft e.V. (DTHG), which brings together theatre technicians and representative bodies from the three German-speaking countries.

The annual exhibition within the stages of the Festspielhaus complex under the banner of MEET attracted many Opera delegates to visit this unequalled display of technologies and materials, which are available to theatre practitioners today. 
No less than 4 distributors from 3 countries represented Prolyte, being: Lighting Innovation,
Cast & Cast Switzerland AG, Think Abele and RTC.
The large stand of RTC attracted many visitors, whereby much interest was generated for the ProTrac.

ProTrac is a patented innovation from Prolyte, designed as an upgraded fly-bar system for the theatre market. ProTrac offers a good alternative for regular fly battens or steel ladder beams, being specially designed to meet the demands from a modern theatrical environment. High loading capacity is combined with high stiffness, resulting in practically no lateral flex when fully loaded.
