Curved roof for Spijkerman

Just before the opening of the summer season, Prolyte has delivered a new type of roof to Spijkerman Evenementenverhuur in the Netherlands.

This curved roof is based on 4 ST towers and S52SV truss as main grid. The runs of S52SV truss are pre-tensioned by using hinges between the truss sections. The curves are put under tension by steel wires for each run of truss. The measurements of the stage are 17,4 x 12,2 m and the total clearance is 8 m. A total distributed load of 5500 kg and 2 point loads of 1200 kg can de added to the roof structure, thereby leaving enough capacity for your lighting and sound systems.

Spijkerman has used the roof system to their satisfaction on several occasions this summer. They also offer an optional system with transparent canopy; the clear and translucent look of this particular set up makes it ideal for all sorts of locations and events.
