Red Bull Flugtag Bucharest 2005

Flugtag means "flying day" in German, but more importantly, it's American for a bunch of creative geniuses strapping themselves to totally outrageous home-made, human powered flying machines and launching themselves off a 30-foot ramp into the wild blue yonder, or alternatively straight into the water. This event, sponsored by Red Bull, is organised on a worldwide basis. For the Flugtag in Bucharest, Romania, Prolyte distributor Megavox build a huge ramp form Prolyte trusses.

As the structure had to be safe as well as completely rigid, Megavox preferred a truss structure above scaffolding. The trusses used were a combination of S42F and S52SV truss. The whole construction was build with relative easy and provided a superb ramp for the partakers in this event.
