Giant roof covers private party In mid-May ModifiC (Russia), a full-range staging and technical production company executed a big co-project with its longstanding partner Prolyte Products. Based on B100RV trusses, ModifiC, in close cooperation with Prolyte, developed and raised a giant roof system with a total front opening of 30 metres and a total depth of 75m. The complete roof construction was not elevated by means of standard towers, but was supported on Layher power walls. Chain hoists mounted in the power walls elevated the complete roof structure. After the required height was reached, the complete structure was fixed to the Layher power walls. Besides coverage for public and artists, the roof structure acted as a ceiling and suspension system for the sound, light, decorations and Cirque De Soleil performing equipment. The total extra loading resulting from this equipment amounted up to 30 tons. In addition to this giant concert hall with the floor space of about 2 250 square meters, ModifiC has mounted a 16x12 Prolyte Tunnel roof on the same grounds.
