The Space Floor construction is designed by Gigant Stages in conjunction with Prolyte.

The Space Floor construction is a distinctive concept for building exhibition booths with mezzanine floors, party area’s or multi level stages, thereby doubling the amount of available floor space.
The modules are assembled quick and easy and can be connected to become a complete mezzanine flooring system. The Space Floor offers the perfect solution for all your events or exhibitions.

The Space Floor is a modular flooring system with a height of 3200 mm. Each module has measurements of 5000 x 4000mm, which provides a total surface of 20 square metres per module. The free height underneath the mezzanine floor is 2760mm.

Each module consists of a complete frame construction to which 4 columns are attached. Free access underneath the stage is possible from all 4 sides; no braces or guy wires are needed. The top floor consists of standard top line stage DEX of 2 x 1 m. The total allowable uniformly distributed loading for each module is 750 kg/m2, which is also the allowable loading for the Stage DEX. The total allowable vertical loading per module is 1500 kg, which is 10% of the allowable horizontal loading. A structural report for several building options is available.

A suspended or false ceiling can be mounted to the bottom side of the modules. Thereby creating the possibility to mount, e.g., conduit- or service pipes. Holes of 110mm can be drilled in the main beams to conduct the pipes to the other modules.

The transportation volume for a module is very low, a complete module is transported in a dolly with measurements of 4700 x 1000 x 1000 mm. Each module can be build within 45 minutes, which is about 20% of alternative constructions.
