Double brake on Prolyft hoists Shortly after the introduction of the Prolyft hoists at the Plasa show, Prolyte has expanded the product line with hoists with a double brake system. Prolyte has achieved this product update in quite short time, to be able to react to a strong demand from the market. This flexibility and willingness to fulfil market demands has proven to be one of Prolyte strong points and will surely benefit the Prolyft users as well. The double brake system can be fitted on the standard PLE-11,PLE-12 and PLE-13 series hoists and can be ordered as a separate kit (article code: PLS-17966W). The double brake is fitted on a longer type of shaft, but does not require bigger housing. Standard control units can be used to control the hoists. The brake system complies with the BGV-C1 regulations. Each separate (single) brake within the double brake system is able to hold the maximum allowed working load. The brake system operates very quietly, which also makes it appropriate for application within the theatre or other branches where noise is an issue. Prolyte expects to introduce a line of hoists that comply fully with the BGV-C1 regulations within the coming three months. For more information go to: www.prolyft.com |
