Catwalk truss
The Prolyft catwalk truss (B100RV-CW) is designed based on the B100V truss. It is the ideal solution for larger venues, like sports arena’s, to create a safe working platform for their technicians or house electricians. Further it provides a good alternative for touring rigs or installed mother grids, to create safe access to enable the servicing of your equipment. The B100RV-CW truss is fitted with an extra handrail on top and a reinforced plate on the bottom side to create a walking platform. The catwalk truss can be flown by assembling bracing bars with fixed lifting eyes to the bottom braces of the truss. Loading tables and a static report of the catwalk truss are available at Prolyte. The B100RV-CW truss is available in several standard lengths. The catwalk truss is designed and manufactured in compliance with: DIN 1055, DIN 18800, DIN 4112, DIN 4112/A1, DIN 4113-1, DIN 4113-1/A1, DIN 4113-2 The first series of catwalk truss were installed by Dutch based rigging company The Rigging BOX. The Rigging BOX installed 76m. catwalk truss in several sections in the Convention Factory in Amsterdam. The catwalk truss is used for performances of the Blue Man Group, whom are playing in this theatre for a full season. As shown in the picture, there are alternative ways to use the catwalk truss, although we wouldn’t recommend to try this in mid air…
