Inspiration
Expanding the ever growing range of Prolyte trussing supposedly had come to an end after the introduction of the B100RV truss. Bigger truss seemed not feasible in aluminium, though some customers kept asking for larger and heavier constructions based on lightweight aluminium.
Finally, inspired by the persistence of their customers, the engineering team sat down to design the MAMMOTH truss.

Big, Bigger, Biggest?
The Prolyte M145RV Mammoth truss is the biggest truss ever constructed from aluminium and placed the engineering team for several challenges. The final design of this truss not only reflects the Prolyte philosophy of making user-friendly products, it also proves the unrivalled technological knowledge and experience Prolyte has gained over the years.

Practise translated into design
The basic requirements for this truss were massive strength and application possibilities within a construction like a roof system. Apart from these basic requirements, the truss must be practical in use as well.
With is massive strength; the M145RV Mammoth truss is 5 times stronger than the B100 truss. On a stretch of 30 m. you still can apply a point load of 6400kg.
Further the truss has no internal diagonals, other trusses can be stored within the M145RV. The overall measurements are thus designed that container and truck space are efficiently used. As the truss requires forklift handling, pick up points are integrated.

From truss to Roof system
Based on the M145RV Mammoth truss, Prolyte has designed a new roof system with a stage dimension of 34m. and a height of 20m. The design and drawings of this roof system will also be presented in Frankfurt.
