Snake Gate The Prolyte Snake Gate is a specially designed barrier to accommodate the transit of your cables ("snake") from the stage to front of house (FOH). A special gate, with a sturdy plate on top, protects your cables from sharp edges and facilitates the placing of the barriers once the cables are already in place. The integrated door facilitates access from stage to FOH for working technicians or security personnel.
New barrier developments The snake gate barrier (BAR SNAKE GATE) has been redesigned. In order to make the production more efficient, the final design is a major improvement. The gate is repositioned from the middle to the side, the eccentric placement offering more stability in the barrier construction, facilitating both installation and transportation. The cable flap is taken out of the design, since most productions use a cable ramp and much thicker snakes can be used. The door hinge is engineered from a special hinge profile, the axis of the hinge covering the complete length of the door, making it very sturdy and fool proof.
Apart from the snake gate barrier, Prolyte introduces the snake barrier (BAR SNAKE), a barrier of 50cm. length with a raised front plate to facilitate cable transit.
