Truss Unraveled, Prolyte’s Technical Truss Training, will bring you a basic understanding of the technical properties, its potential and its practical limits. Bringing over 25 years of truss manufacturing to the table, Prolyte will give you an insight into the different types of truss, connection types and their applications. To understand the different types of truss and help you pick the right product for the job you will learn more about the different forces occurring in the truss as well as different types of loads and how they are calculated. By understanding and being aware of loads, forces, truss and connection types, work floor safety, and truss maintenance, participants will be one step closer to safe and efficient truss usage.

Session highlights:
1) Learn about different truss and connection types and their applications/advantages
2) Learn about internal and external forces in the truss
3) Learn about reading and understanding different loads and their effect on the truss/span
4) Learn about safe ways to use and maintain truss/structures

Technical Truss training given by trainer Eric Laanstra. Become familiar with the different types of forces and loads on truss and their effects. In addition, an explanation is given about building temporary structures with truss, for example building a roof with your own truss. This takes into account the latest regulations and what you need to build safely.

I really think truss should not be sold unless the person completes this course. There is a lot of information that is very good - people don’t always realize the complexity of trussing systems. There are many things that uniformed safety officers want, that actually at the end of the day could result in creating an issue. It’s a very good course
