New calculations and loading tables for Prolyte truss explained

Before the new Euro Codes were implemented, calculations for truss and truss structures were made according to the ASD (Allowable Stress Design) calculation method. The principles of these calculations were written in the DIN standard. This standard provided all the figures for the maximum allowable stress for different Aluminium alloys in non-welded and welded positions.

Eurocodes (Part 2)

Slowly but steadily the Eurocodes are implemented in our industry as well. Raising huge discussions amongst structural engineers, they finally seem to have found common ground, now placing responsibility with the truss manufacturers to comply with these regulations.
