Acorn Event Structures chooses Prolyte Space Roof for Creamfields

Acorn Event Structures has been awarded the prestigious contract to provide the complete staging package for the UK’s No.1 electronic music festival - Creamfields. Held on the August back holiday, Creamfields is now considered the premier electronic music festival in the UK and attracts an audience of over 70,000 to its Daresbury Estate venue.

Acorn will supply two 60-metre wide outdoor stage roofs, using the Prolyte Space Roof. Each main stage will be supplied complete with a newly designed cowshed arrangement, front of house structures and delay towers.

Ian Greenway, Director of production company LarMac LIVE, said: “We were really impressed with the flexibility that Space Roof offered us in being able to deliver a really slick visual appearance for our audience."

“From the initial conversation, Acorn have been extremely accommodating and their test build of the stage was a real bonus for myself and the other Creamfields stakeholders to see, touch and feel the roof in advance of being on site.”

Andy Nutter, Managing Director of Acorn Event Structures, commented: “We’re delighted to have been chosen to support Creamfields and are really looking forward to working with Ian and the Cream team at this iconic event.

“Since we introduced Space Roof to the UK marketplace, its popularity has increased dramatically as promoters and production companies are realising not only its impressive performance capability but also the ease with which its visual appearance can be altered.”

The sales people you trained on Friday were all extremely positive. You have given them lots to think about.
