Another successful Prolyte Campus held at Stage Electrics

On the 12th of September Stage Electrics held a technical trussing seminar in cooperation with the Prolyte Group. This seminar was a fantastic success, with a large turnout of attendees. Stage Electrics staff and customers joined together to improve their knowledge of truss and how to use it effectively.

Jeff Saunders, a customer and industry professional, commented: “I found it very educational and useful, even after many years of handling truss and rigging, and would thoroughly recommend it to others in the industry.”

Prolyte Campus by Matthias Moeller at Stage Electrics

This day long session was led by Matthias Moeller, Senior Technical Advisor of the Prolyte Group, who covered topics such as types of loading and their effect on truss, strategies for the clever use of truss and explained how to make effective investments when it came to truss.

Prolyte Campus is a Prolyte Group initiative to support its customers with the best and most up-to-date knowledge available. Adam Blaxill, Marketing Director at Stage Electrics, commented “This is the second Prolyte campus we have run this year, both have been extremely popular, we have had some seasoned technicians take part who have all felt they had all added to their rigging and trussing knowledge by participating.”

I really think truss should not be sold unless the person completes this course. There is a lot of information that is very good - people don’t always realize the complexity of trussing systems. There are many things that uniformed safety officers want, that actually at the end of the day could result in creating an issue. It’s a very good course
