Dubai Opera invests in Prolyte

Dubai Opera, which opened its doors on August 31st 2016, has invested in ProLyft Aetos hoists and Prolyte S36 truss to support their in-house facilities for the main auditorium.

The 2,000-seat multi-purpose venue is designed for a variety of genres, including opera, ballet, classical, concerts, art exhibitions, weddings, and corporate events.
Inside Dubai Opera, the main auditorium can be reconfigured, depending on the type of performance. A second, smaller space seating around 250 people can be used to run education workshops, rehearsals, pre-performance talks or other events.

The spectacular building is shaped like a wooden dhow, the ‘hull’ containing waiting areas, drop-off area and parking; the ‘bow’ containing the concert halls, a rooftop garden and a restaurant that will open soon.

The Prolyte equipment was supplied by Prolyte distributor, Provision AVL. “Being able to support Dubai Opera with all their truss and hoist needs, really makes a difference” states Kevin Boujikian, General Manager of Provision AVL.
“The extended local support and quick responses we could offer as a Prolyft Service Point fuelled Opera House’s enthusiasm to work with Prolyte”.

One thing is a certainty: The investment in ProLyft Aetos hoists, S36 truss and S100F trusses, is a good solid beginning.

The course was very informative. At Marshall Music I mainly sell equipment but you need to know and have this training when someone wants to buy truss from you. You need to make sure that what you’re selling them actually stays up, that people adhere to codes. I found it very useful.
