“With plenty of hilarious anecdotes over the years, like building exhibitions in the USA, where the local sheriff shut us down for not complying with local unions. The same happened again while packing up, but we already had the booth down before they could blink their eyes.
All opportunities are always mutually discussed as friends and it never felt like a standard supplier/dealer relationship. Though we do every once in a while have a small disagreement or conflict with one another, we always maintain our respect for each other and work it out together.
Even during Prolyte’s troublesome times, Controllux remained faithful and we do not regret that decision to this day. After all, there is only one world market leader and that is Prolyte; a company that; together with its distributors, sell solutions not just a piece of aluminium.
The biggest challenge for us has always been making the campuses an exceptional success. Something we succeeded in perfectly also thanks to "MBO College Hilversum", where we could use their Studio 6 to host the campus. With challenging topics and hands-on workshops, we manage to organise an annual two-day campus with over 60 attendees each day. It’s a shame that the annual campus has altered to a sudden stop because of this Pandemic, however, we sure hope to return stronger and bigger next campus.”
