This time we go back to 2014, where with our Giant Arc Roof we were part of the Olympische Huldiging (Olympic Ceremony) for the Olympic Athletes arriving in the Netherlands after the Olympic Winter Games.
A Giant ARC Roof was built on the edge of the center of the Drenthe. This Giant Arc Roof is usually constructed using 3-to-5 arches. Straight truss sections, interconnected with bottom hinges and topside spreader plates, create the arch needed over the complete span.

More than 7000 people were part of this celebration to cheer on the athletes.
Our Giant ARC Roof is a tower-based structure that is constructed using 3-to-5 arches. Straight truss sections, interconnected with bottom hinges and topside spreader plates, create the arch needed over the complete span. Two steel wires per span absorb horizontal forces caused by the loading. The arches are connected to either a standard ST or CT tower.

The ceremony, held in Assen by Interstage , hosted the medal winners, including Ireen Wust, Sven Kramer, and Bob de Jong, who were festively welcomed with a mountain of orange confetti!
